ifilm English to air final curtain for ‘Matador’

ifilm English channel has set to air final episode for the series ‘Matador’ on Monday night.

The series finale, produced by Javad Norouzbeigi and directed by Farhad Najafi, will be aired on January 20, 2020, at 22 GMT.

In ‘Matador’, the representative of the European Union is planning to visit Iran; a visit meant to boost relations with Tehran. Major Hamed and his special unit are tasked with preventing any instability and insecurity in the country during the senior official’s trip.

But soon they realize they’re dealing with a terror network that is actually planning the assassination of the EU representative during his stay in Iran.

The cast list includes Sam Derakhshani, Pouriya Poursorkh, Poulad Kimiaee, Shaqayeq Farahani, Linda Kiani, Aliram Nouraee, Majid Moshiri, Majid Vasheqani, and Sirous Hemmati.

‘Matador’, produced in 2013, will be replaced by the series ‘Third Sense’ made by Mehdi Fakhimzadeh.
